Types of Rhinoplasty

Bulbous Nose

A bulbous nose usually has thick skin and weak cartilage, which makes the nasal tip appear wide or large. In crooked nose rhinoplasty, in addition to improving the appearance and straightening the nasal shape, the breathing function is also enhanced. This procedure combines both cosmetic and functional aspects.

Revision Rhinoplasty

Sometimes, after the initial surgery, the outcome may not be satisfactory due to various reasons such as improper healing or changes in shape over time. In such cases, revision or secondary rhinoplasty is performed to correct the remaining or newly developed issues. This procedure is more complex than the primary surgery and requires the surgeon’s special experience and expertise.

Ultrasonic Piezo Rhinoplasty

The piezo ultrasonic device is an advanced medical tool that uses ultrasonic waves to create precise and controlled cuts in bones and hard tissues. Due to its high accuracy and reduced damage to surrounding tissues, this device is used in various surgeries, including cosmetic and orthopedic procedures.

Application of the Piezo Ultrasonic Device in Rhinoplasty
In cosmetic nose surgery (rhinoplasty), the piezo ultrasonic device allows surgeons to cut and reshape the nasal bones with greater precision. The use of this device reduces bleeding, swelling, and bruising after surgery, and shortens the patient’s recovery period. Moreover, thanks to its high accuracy and better control, this technique provides significantly improved and more satisfying aesthetic results.

Dr. Sara Arzhang, an ENT specialist, performs cosmetic rhinoplasty using the piezo ultrasonic device. With her extensive experience and expertise in this field, she delivers excellent and satisfying outcomes for her patients. By employing advanced and up-to-date technologies, including the piezo ultrasonic device, Dr. Arzhang helps enhance patients’ quality of life and increase their satisfaction with surgical results.
